Why the exclusion of Bhutan and Nepal from the South Asian list? From Nepal, we have e.g. Samrat Upadhyay's The Royal Ghosts. And Gopilal Acharya (from Bhutan) was nominated for the Man Asian Literary Prize in 2009 for his debut novel With A Stone In My Heart.
