Previews for the movie called Admission, starring Tina Fey and Paul Rudd, are everywhere right now (link to the trailer), and it’s at the top of my must-see list. Why? Well, first of all, the casting seems to be absolutely amazing! And second? The film is based on the novel Admission by Jean Hanff Korelitz which I read and enjoyed a few years ago.
So you can imagine how thrilled I was asked to do a giveaway in support of the movie, which opens on March 22. One of you lucky readers will receive an Admission prize pack, which includes:
- A folder, notepad, pen, drawstring bag, and toothbrush
- A movie tie-in edition of the book Admission by Jean Hanff Korelitz
- Bossypants by Tina Fey
All prizes will be provided by Focus Features.

If you’re having trouble with the form, email me with your full name and address with the subject line “Admission Giveaway” and I’ll consider you entered. And if you haven’t read the book, here’s a quick synopsis of the movie:
Tina Fey (Date Night, 30 Rock) and Paul Rudd (I Love You Man, Knocked Up) star in Admission, the new film directed by Academy Award nominee Paul Weitz (About a Boy), about the surprising detours we encounter on the road to happiness. Straight-laced Princeton University admissions officer Portia Nathan (Fey) is caught off-guard when she makes a recruiting visit to an alternative high school overseen by her former college classmate, the free-wheeling John Pressman (Rudd). Pressman has surmised that Jeremiah (Nat Wolff), his gifted yet very unconventional student, might well be the son that Portia secretly gave up for adoption many years ago. Soon, Portia finds herself bending the rules for Jeremiah, putting at risk the life she thought she always wanted -- but in the process finding her way to a surprising and exhilarating life and romance she never dreamed of having.
