Happy Sunday everyone! Things are slowly returning to normal here, as we’re getting settled into our new house. We’ve done some major furniture shopping over the past two weekends and, as a result, over the next month our rooms should actually be taking shape! It’s exciting to think about getting the bigger pieces in, as we can’t currently have anyone over to see the house because we don’t have anywhere to sit on the first floor!

As you might have been able to tell over the past week, my reading schedule is also slowly returning to normal. I’m finding more time to read and write reviews, and while I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to a review per day anytime soon, but I managed to get 5 books read last week (yay!), so keep an eye out for those reviews coming up.

Right now, the big news in our house (besides the new house, of course) is the approach of Hurricane Sandy. We’re ready for a multi-day power outage, but because we live in such a walkable neighborhood, we aren’t too worried about the aftermath. We know that somewhere we can walk to will have power once the storm’s through, even if our house doesn’t. We’re ready to hunker down for a few days, and my ereader is charged and ready for the storm!
