I can’t believe that the holidays are over and a new year has begun!  2009 was a great year for me, but it went by so fast that I feel like I missed it!  I’m looking forward to even more great things in 2010.

I hope to post a 2009 year in review post plus some blogging goals for 2010.  I haven’t been doing any blogging for the past week, so I have a lot to catch up on.  I hate feeling so behind this early in the year!  If you’re waiting for a reviews post for the South Asian Author Challenge or Deb Ball Challenge, or to find out who won the books for the South Asian Author Challenge, I promise that will all be up in the next couple of days!

Happy new year everyone, and I hope your 2010 is bright, shiny, and full of wonderful books!

Books I’ve read this week:

Every Secret Thing – Laura Lippman

The Eyre Affair – Jasper Fforde

Dead Witch Walking – Kim Harrison

The Hollow – Jessica Verday

Battle Royale – Koushun Takami

Other reviews posted this week:

Me Talk Pretty One Day – David Sedaris

Big Stone Gap – Adriana Trigiani

Wicked Lovely – Melissa Marr

Silent on the Moor – Deanna Raybourn

Serendipity – Louise Shaffer

Godmother – Carolyn Turgeon

Mathilda Savitch – Victor Lodato

The Late Lamented Molly Marx – Sally Koslow

Fingersmith – Sarah Waters

The Help – Kathryn Stockett

Whew! Fingersmith and The Help in one week! That would almost be more than my little heart could take!

I should finish Battle Royale in a few minutes and I'll be so glad to be done with it. I think I'm just too old for a book like that.

I'm already missing the holidays. LOL Or maybe it was the not having to get up early and go into work part that I'm missing. :-)

I hope you have a wonderful New Year, Swapna.
