I LOVE the idea of this challenge! Especially as I sometimes need the motivation to get through all the books that I want/need to read.

This sounds good - I'll go through my pile, guestimate my percentage and be back to sign up!

Mine is actually clear-off-the-floor-beside-your-nighttable-before-your-husband-has-a-fit,
but I guess that would be a little difficult to fit on the button.

This is unbelievably tragic-I re-carpeted my upstairs and threw my books into the bathtub of the spare bathroom-they were too heavy to lug downstairs. Well guess what is in my tub-books books and more books-I thought I was being clever and it would make me go through them before putting them back on the shelf.

I have a lot of books backed up, but I'm going to try really, really hard to read 50%. Great idea for a contest, and a good way for me to get my feet wet in the blogging community. Thanks!

This is such a great idea for a challenge. I've set the bar low at 20%, but I'm hoping to do better than that.

Review books are starting to take over my home, so hopefully this will help restore some level of normality (well, as normal as we get, anyway). :-)

Thanks for setting up such a great challenge! I'm setting my goal low, 20%, only because I'm still recovering from the flu and don't want to push myself too much!

Hi!
I am so glad I found this challenge! I have lots of books on my shelves that need reading, just can't seem to get to them. I always find something else to read. Thanks for hosting this challenge. I have posted about this challenge at my place, Just Books. Have a great weekend!!

I'm going to go for broke and try for 95% of my recreational reading. I have 6 stacks of books, I can probably get 2 months worth of books that qualify out of them. Bonus is that the way they're stacked helps me to tell how old they are :)

I enetered this a couple of weeks ago but when I came back to grab the button for my blog that i just started I noticed an error (or two...lol)> I had aimed for 50%, not realizing that the stipulations applied more to review books. So While I am here I am increasing my goal to 90%!
