Well first of all, you loved it, which is generally a good sign. Secondly, I love multicultural fiction because I love getting to walk a mile in the shoes of someone with a different background than myself. Besides, I have no idea when my library will finish processing it.

I'll blog about it Saturday in my link roundup!

I want it! =) I love reading multicultural fiction, especially if they've anything to do with Chinese, or Muslim, cultures. I'm Chinese (ancestry) and was born & bred in Malaysia. =)

I've got this linked on my giveaways page.

One of the reasons I love reading is the escape to another country or life, unlike my own. I would love to be entered in this drawing. Thanks! Indigo

I would love to read this book because it chronicles a woman's reaction to a situation that I think we're all wondered "what would I do?" about.

I want to read this because I've heard good things about it and I think it's important for us to remember that we all suffer when terrorists strike, regardless of our individual nationalities and beliefs. Thank you for the chance to move this from my Wish List to my nightstand!

This is a wonderful giveaway! I would love an opportunity to be entered into this contest for a couple of reasons - first, the title is what drew me to read this post. The word Saffron is wonderful. Also, I follow Shaila Abdullah on Twitter and I enjoy her tweets and website.

Thanks to both of you for the opportunity!

My favorite fiction deals with a culture other than my own. So, this would fit that mold perfectly.

I want to see how such a slim novel about multicultural issues goes beyond just the 9/11 attacks. Thanks for the giveaway.

Being able to read about other cultures, other places is something I have always enjoyed. Actually I loved living in different places throughout the world before settling in NC. So by reading I feel I am in those other places and cultures.

sharon54220 said...

WOW!! What a review. I would love to read this to see what someone from another country thinks of the US and also about 9/11. Being originally from NJ, now living in Wisconsin, 9/11 really hit hard for me.

I've been notorious for judging books by their covers. I have been disappointed but a few times. The cover on this book is beautiful and I would definitely pick it up were I to pass it at the bookstore. I'd love to have a signed copy!

I will also blog about this contest on my site. Will be back later with the link.
