LOST - "Namaste"

This is a weekly discussion of LOST. SPOILERS BELOW!

Wasn't it great to have LOST back after two weeks?  I was really looking forward to tonight's episode.

I have to say, I really loved the reunion scene, especially between Sawyer and Hurley.  I'm a total sucker for those types of things, and we seem to constantly be having some sort of reunion on LOST!

I don't feel like we learned that much this episode – there was much more advancing of the storyline and setting up the future plot arcs.  I have no idea how Sawyer is going to be able to help Sayid, and from the looks of the next episode, neither does he.  I also am glad that Hurley pointed out that the entire Dharma Initiative gets wiped out and asked about preventing it.  I definitely think that's where the story is heading.

I loved how Sawyer totally called Jack out on his imbecile leadership style from before.  Granted, Sawyer has a lot more to work with than Jack, but still.  I also enjoyed the Sayid/Ben meeting.

I wonder why Sun didn't travel back in time with the rest of the Oceanic 6?  (I guess they're the Oceanic 4 now?)  Is it because she's become such a horrible person since leaving the Island?  But then again, it's not like Jack was exactly a model citizen, popping pills and trying to kill himself.

I feel like there's not that much to say about this one.  It was interesting, but it looks like we're in for some character driven episodes, rather than discovering answers to all of our questions.  Still, I can't wait for next week!

Deborah do you mean Goodwin?

I didn't enjoy the Sawyer/Jack scene, but I do love me some character driven episodes on LOST!

And it is interesting to see them playing the dynamics of Sawyer and Juliet and Jack and Kate. Any predictions how that will turn out?

And... since this is young Ben, is older Ben acting off of the things that younger Ben learned from our Losties? This also reveals why Ben knows so much about the Losties when they arrive on the island. Initially I thought he received full life bios from outside the island, but it may just be that he met them all when he was young and knows their whole stories already.

Didn't learn much last night...but dang....it was still a darn fine episode. I loved seeing the beginnings of Ethan, and Ben as a little kid. I guess we have a timeline now for how much time Sawyer and his bunch have before the massacre. Since Ben's a little kid in their time, it'll be a while until he's old enough to lead the killing. Unless the island plays with time again....oh aaargh.....

I'm glad that I know who that baby is. Juliet's reaction was priceless. I'm curious about how Sun is going to travel back in time. I'd love to know where Rose and Bernard are and what happened to Daniel.

Sun trying to do evil to the island...didn't think of that one before but it definitely fits.
