Back from Borders!

I went to Borders today armed with some Borders rewards and a buy one, get one 30% off coupon. All the people who have been writing about the death of books obviously haven't been to the Borders at Pentagon City.

I came away with two books: Grimus by Salman Rushdie (I think that completes my Rushdie collection) and Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling (I think I picked up the last one in the store).

Wow you picked up the last one? Yay! Every store I have been in the past week had tables full of them. But them again my Borders has had so many Breaking Dawn copies since this summer they form the shape of a good sized table, it's so tall you could easily sit on it. After awhile they started throwing other Twilight stuff on top of it like calendars and t-shirts. I just hope people start buying some of the copies... It's getting a little out of hand. Haha! I was sad there wasn't one of the regular coupons this week in the Borders email. I'm going to wait until next week to buy my last book present.

I was in B & N last week and it was packed. I had to wait in line at the help desk and at the cash register.

I want Tales of Beedle Bard so bad. I've got it on order. It's too cold here right now to venture out shopping. I bet you have that one done in no time at all.
