This week was a busy one, but I got a TON of reading done which was excellent! I started up yoga classes this week. This is something I have been meaning to do for awhile. I'm naturally skinny (let's hope it stays that way!) but I've been feeling like I need to do a little more to become physically fit. There's a yoga center right next to me, so I decided to take the plunge - three times a week, an hour per class. It is not cheap, but I think it's worth it - I'm really enjoying myself so far!

I also did a little blog redesign this week, though it is inconspicuous enough that I don't think most people noticed. I added the tabs above my blog banner in order to keep track of challenges, have an easily accessible list of book reviews, and to keep track of giveaways going on around the web!

This week, I posted about 7 random bookish things, got the Bookworm Award (yay!) and entered two challenges for 2009: the 100+ Reading Challenge (my goal is 250) and the Read Your Own Books Challenge.

I currently have a giveaway going on for House of Daughters by Sarah-Kate Lynch. Today is the last day to enter, so if you are interested, make sure you hurry up and leave a comment on the entry page telling me what your favorite book set in another country is! [review][entry page]

I started reading The New Annotated Dracula this week - not exactly a light read! The book is HUGE and I have a feeling I'll be reading it for awhile. I've never read Dracula, so this should be an especially interesting experience!

Ok, onto the stats!

Books I've read this week:

The Washingtonienne - Jessica Cutler [review]

The Pre-Nup - Beth Kendrick [review to be posted on Tuesday]

Good to a Fault - Marina Endicott [review]

Tethered - Amy Mackinnon [review to be posted on Monday]

Whacked - Jules Asner [review]

Faro's Daughter - Georgette Heyer [review to be posted]

Mrs. Perfect - Jane Porter [review]

Gilding Lily - Tatiana Boncampagni [review to be posted]

13 Little Blue Envelopes - Maureen Johnson [review to be posted on Wednesday]

Other reviews posted this week:

The Gifted Gabaldon Sisters - Lorraine Lopez [review]

I Know It's Over - C.K. Kelly Martin [review]

I don't know how you read so fast - that's more than a book a day!

Guess what! I'm reading the Dracula Dossier. I'll let you know how it is . I was having trouble commenting on your site.

You read two more overnight! I didn't even see those in the currently reading list! I love it! And PS I totally noticed the redesign and clicked all the tabs, looking good! I've always wanted to try Yoga!

I recently started doing yoga a couple of months ago - after my first class, I actually felt like I'd had a massage (but haven't had that feeling again). So lucky that you're right next to a yoga center.

It's been a while since I read Dracula. I'm looking forward to your review of 13 Little Blue Envelopes. I started reading it in the summer but put the book down because of something and it got put away somewhere! Now that you've reminded me, I think I'll search through the shelves ...

I read 13 Little Blue Envelopes last year, and mostly enjoyed it. I look forward to your review.

I'd like to add a third column to my blog, but don't want to redo the whole thing so am trying to figure out the code to do it myself. It's more challenging than I thought it would be!
