Well, reflecting back on this past week, I had a lot going on, but not so much that I was too busy to enjoy myself. I didn't read nearly as much as usual because I hit a wall on Wednesday night. I didn't pick up a book again until Saturday, which is really rare for me. But I'm glad I took a break because my brain was tired from so much studying, so I recharged myself with some TV watching.
And that brings me to today...which is my birthday! My husband got me an iPhone, which I am super excited about, and probably will be playing with all day. But I think it will most likely be a quiet day - he's been working A LOT (til 2 AM the other night) and there's nothing more I would love in a day than to be able to curl up and read. Plus my parents are coming to visit next weekend, so there is the small matter of cleaning up the place and getting it ready! Luckily, I spent a lot of Friday doing just that so I wouldn't have to clean too much on my birthday.
I have a lot going on this week in terms of the blogging world as well! Tomorrow, Nov. 3, I will be announcing my next book giveaway to go along with Book Room Reviews' Blog Giveaway Carnival! Karen White's new book, The House on Tradd Street, will also be having a blog tour stopping here tomorrow, so make sure to check back - I loved this book! And then on Nov. 5, I'll be having another blog tour! This time it will be Somebody Else's Daughter by Elizabeth Brundage.
This past week, I shared 7 random things about me, posted some wedding pictures, wrote about Hedge Fund Wives, True Blood, and the best Chick Lit Blogs, and shared my favorite commercial. I also posted USA Today's Top Selling Books since Oct. 1983.
Now, onto stats!

I'm doing the Book Giveaway Carnival, too - I think it will be fun. I can't wait to read your review of A Thousand Veils, since I'll be reading it soon.
Happy birthday! It sounds like you've got a good day planned, what with the curling up and all. Wish I could do the same. :)
Happy birthday! I hope you have a wonderful day! I am reading Karen White's book at the moment and so will probably save your review to read until I finish the book and write my own review first. I will definitely save it to read later though! I'm looking forward to reading your upcoming reviews. Enjoy the rest of your day and have a great week!
