Wedding Pictures #8

I like this one because you can see the whole stage, or mandap. If you're familiar with Indian weddings, you can see that we didn't do it traditionally - usually, just the bride's parents are on the mandap, not the groom's parents. But we didn't want my husband's family to feel left out, so we put his parents up there as well. And we weren't going to make my sister or his brother sit by themselves, so our whole families ended up on the mandap! I liked having our families up there with us though.

What a good idea! I went to a Punjabi Hindu wedding a few weeks ago and they had the parents on the stage as well.

Just beautiful. Again, I just love the vibrant colors. I agree with bermudaonion-it does look like something out of a fairy tale.

Pretty stage. I like how the mandap is not typicallyy read and green. Golden gives it a classic appeal, i guess.

Your wedding pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I am getting married Jan 2, and I hope that my pics are half as wonderful as these!
