My LibraryThing authors are:
Sandra Gulland (Josephine Bonaparte series, of which I've only read one)
Maggie Marr (The Hollywood Girls Club)
Marisa de los Santos (Love Walked In and Belong to Me)
Lori Smith (A Walk with Jane Austen)
Sarah Smith (Chasing Shakespeares)
Lisa Unger (Beautiful Lies and Black Out)
Melissa Walker (The Violet Series)
Laura Parker Castoro (ok, I'm not sure how she got on there - I've never read any books by her!)
I have talked to an author once, LT was doing an author chat with Marisa de los Santos for about two weeks. I asked her about her beautiful writing style and where it came from.
I've never received any comments from any authors on my LT account, but I've received a few on my blog!

It's such a thrill when an author comments on your blog, isn't it?!
We have Marisa de los Santos in common.
It's definately nice to hear from the authors we review. Even if we are just lowly bloggers and all, we do reach people the fancy professional reviewers never will. I know I'd take the review of a fellow blogger over a "reviewer" any day.
I know you, and know you're reading and review out of love of reading. The professional reviews often seem to be a bit bitter and dissect the books. Mneh, I just want to know if it's a good read.
You're the first person I've seen so far who shares Sandra Gulland with me. Did you like the Josephine Bonaparte book you read? I loved them!
I've been meaning to pick up Love Walked In, as it taunts me from the shelves of the used bookstore every time I go there. I'll have to give in and get it next time, as long as someone else hasn't gotten there first!
Like you, I haven't received any author comments at LT, but I have on my blog. I keep meaning to participate in some of the author chats, but I usually am not reading a book by the designated author at the same time the discussion is going on.
There have been so many times I've read a great but obscure book and wanted to get the word out
I know! That's one thing I really wanted to do with Mishka. It's a self-published book with a percentage of the profits going to helping children in orphanage and prospective parents who wish to adopt from foreign countries. It's such a good thing Bashista is doing, and I wanted to help her out.
I also have de los Santos, and I love her writing style. You can definitely see the evidence of her poetry background. She'll be at the National Book Festival next month, and I'm looking forward to seeing her. The content of the books was a little fluffy for me...or, rather, the "twist" endings bugged me, but I still like her.
We have a few in common!
I have one of the Josephine B. books, but I haven't read it. Did you enjoy the one that you read?
We don't have any authors in common, but it looks like you have a pretty good list :) It's fun to watch it grow as more and more authors join!
I have only two LT Authors :(
I just created an LT Author reading challenge to remedy this, details on my blog ...
